CLASSICAL BALLET (R.A.D.)
The foundation for all dance forms. Improve strength, poise, balance, and control. Technical skill gained through the study of ballet is necessary for all other forms of dance. Qualified students are entered into R.A.D. Children's and Major examinations. Students considering competing in dance in the future should enroll in a ballet class.
Pre-Primary- Age 6
Primary- Age 7
Grade 1- Ages 8-9
Grade 2- Ages 9-10
Grade 3- Ages 10-11
Grade 4- Ages 11-12
Grade 5- Ages 12-15
Intermediate Foundation- Ages 13 and older
Intermediate- Ages 15 and older
Pointe Class- Ages 12 and above
***must have at least 3 yrs ballet experience

DRESS CODE
Pre- Primary & Primary- Girls must wear a pink bodysuit, ballet pink tights and pink leather full sole ballet shoes. A pink ballet wrap sweater can be worn during the winter months. Hair must be worn in a bun with no stray strands and no bangs. Boys must wear a white t-shirt, balck shorts, white socks and black ballet shoes.
Grade 1-2- Girls must wear a navy blue tank bodysuit, ballet pink tights and pink leather full sole ballet shoes. A pink ballet wrap sweater and pink thigh-high leg warmers can be worn during the winter months. Hair must be worn in a bun with no stray strands and no bangs. Boys must wear a white t-shirt, black shorts, white socks and black ballet shoes.
Grade 3-5- Girls must wear a navy blue tank bodysuit with a pinch at the front, ballet pink tights and pink leather full sole ballet shoes. A pink ballet wrap sweater and pink thigh-high leg warmers can be worn during the winter months. Hair must be worn in a bun with no stray strands and no bangs. Boys must wear a white t-shirt, black shorts, white socks and black ballet shoes.
Intermediate- Girls must wear a burgandy, navy blue or black bodysuit, ballet pink tights and pink leather split sole ballet shoes. A pink ballet wrap sweater and pink thigh-high leg warmers can be worn during the winter months. Hair must be worn in a bun with no stray strands and no bangs. Boys must wear a white t-shirt, black shorts, white socks and black ballet shoes.
